CHIIGGER REPELLENT:

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons of witch hazel

4 tablespoons of water

5 drops of essential oil (choose from lavender, tea tree, thyme, or lemongrass)

Instructions:

In a small spray bottle, mix the witch hazel and water.

Add your choice of essential oil to the mixture.

Shake well to combine all the ingredients.

Spray directly onto your skin before heading outdoors.

This blend creates a scent that chiggers dislike, and it’s a natural way to keep them at bay. Remember to reapply every few hours for maximum effectiveness, especially if you’re spending a lot of time outdoors. Enjoy your time outside without the worry of chigger bites!

CHIIGGER TREATMENT:

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon of dish soap

1/4 cup of pineapple juice

1/2 teaspoon of tea tree oil

1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Mix the dish soap, pineapple juice, and tea tree oil together.

Let the mixture sit for a couple of minutes.

Add the cayenne pepper and let it sit for a few more minutes.

Use a cotton-tipped applicator to apply the mixture to the bites.

If necessary, cover with band-aids to hold the paste in place.

This remedy combines the anti-inflammatory properties of tea tree oil with the soothing effect of pineapple juice and the warmth of cayenne pepper to help reduce itching and discomfort.
