7 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

Double Boiler
Begin by melting the Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, and Castor Oil in a double boiler. You can make your own double boiler by placing the three ingredients in a large bowl, then placing the bowl over a saucepan containing 2 inches of water. Heat the water over medium flame so the water boils and produces steam that gently melts the ingredients in the bowl.
Once melted, let the ingredients cool down completely until it starts to solidify and turns opaque. This allows for easy whipping into a cream. If you keep it in the fridge for 20 minutes, it will speed up the process.
Next, use a hand mixer to whip the semi-solid ingredients for 3 minutes until combined. Add Calendula Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil and Lavender Essential Oil.
Whip again for 4 minutes to mix all ingredients evenly.
When you obtain a whipped and fluffy cream, transfer into a sterilized airtight glass jar. Store in a cool, dry place.
It keeps for 6-12 months at room temperature. Do not let water get inside the container because it can introduce bacteria that may spoil the body butter.
