

Patti Winters' Wild Yam Cream!!!!
Ingredients:
Wild Yam Root- 1 Cup
Chaste Berry (Vitex)- 1/2 Cup
Red Raspberry Leaf- 1/2 Cup
Red Clover Flower- 1/2 Cup
Pure Organic Castor Oil
Organic Coconut Oil- 2 Cups
Vitamin C Powder- 1/4 Cup
Vitamin E- 1Tsp
Beeswax Pellets- 1oz per cup of infused oil
Lavender Oil- 10 drops
Frankincense Oil- 10 Drops
Shea Butter- 1Cup
Directions:
In a double broiler infuse the following:
Wild Yam- Chaste Berry- Red Raspberry Leaf-Red Clover Flower- Castor Oil- Coconut Oil-Vitamin C- Cook at a temp of 110-125 but no higher. You don't want to destroy the medicinal properties. Cool for no less than 8 hours.
I usually use my controlled temp turkey roaster and water bath mason jars filled with ingredients. I cook this up to 48 hours but you don't have to.
Strain infused oil in a mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Squeeze out all the oils.
Put infused oil in double broiler- add 1 cup Shea Butter- blend and melt completely. Add Vitamin E and essential oils.
In a separate measuring cup, melt 1 oz beeswax for every cup of infused oil.
When completely melted add to infused oils and blend completely.
Pour into mixing bowl and let set until semi solid. You can put it into the fridge to speed the process, but don't let it get too hard.
Blend Until creamy- this takes some time. You will need to scrape the bowl while blending to get a thorough mixing.
You can add more essential oils than 10 drops each, this is just what I use.
